Home Site for the Tuson Household
This site documents various activities we have been carrying out related to our physical home over a number of years. These activities include:
- Automating the home, initially to improve security but more recently to provide a more comfortable living environment whilst minimising the unnecessary usage of electrical energy.
- Acting to reduce our overall use of both gas and electrical energy by focusing on our largest areas of actual usage.
- Instrumenting the home to improve our understanding how gas and electricity is used while trying to understand the effectiveness of schemes to reduce energy usage.
- Trying to understand the growth of council tax over the years and where it might end.
